Dead Island: Riptide - Not For The Better

Dead Island: Riptide is developer Deep Silver’s second entry to the Dead Island franchise. With the trailer being shown late last year and gameplay footage popping up a matter of days ago, I just wasn’t all that impressed by either. With everyone’s reserved feelings and thoughts toward the franchise, I have a few personal thoughts I would like to discus about the trailer.

This is called good PR. And an opportunity to hire veterans over scrubs.

phoenixwing998d ago

Not to call them scrubs but yeah some veteran devs are more welcome than others with less experience

Charlieboy333998d ago (Edited 998d ago )

But of course. Just look at the latest Saint's Row....that is exactly the level of quality and writing that Xbox strives for these days.

but remakes require far less effort for these companies and they can still charge $70 for them!

Feel like everyone makes fun of Skyrim re-releasing like 18 times yet applaud these remasters elsewhere. Would much prefer NEW games

CrimsonWing691183d ago

Making sequels really is the way to go. Otherwise we'll be stuck playing only the first entry, forever!!!
