This is a game a person pauses when someone walks in the room, not for its gnashing blends of black metal guitars and drum and bass (D&B), not for the outstanding visual design and its visceral combat, but for an embarrassingly handled tale of revenge and oppression.

Devil May Cry 5 surpasses 10 million sales as Netflix animated series drives major surge in franchise popularity.

It's been six years since Capcom dropped Devil May Cry 5, but it's still more than worth replaying in 2025 thanks to its rich gameplay.
Because the anime is on Netflix and we gotta ride that DMC in the news again wave.
It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!
Everytime its on sale I think about buying it but never do. I only played the orginal and somr of 3 so I guess that's part of it.

Steam's Summer Sale looks primed for Steam Deck players - with a huge collection of titles on offer for the handheld.
That's exactly how I feel about the story and writing in this game. Great review, while it gives the game a good score, it's not afraid to point out the flaws in the narrative.
erm bankers are evil/ demons how is that a botched social commentary
i don't play video games for their social commentary, therefore, i can care less what point a game is trying to make either politically or socio-economically, philosophically ect...ect...
i play a game if it looks fun, has good visuals, good performance and will last me more than a few hours
from what i hear of the pc version of this game it sound to be all of those, i may wait for a bit better price, but once i see it on steam for $25 or so, im grabbing it!
