The style meter never decays. Of course it's easy. It removes the sense of accomplishment when you finally get that sss combo after practicing the same Board for two hours.

Dmc has been dumbed down just like RE. RE is a gen older than DMC and has nowhere near the diehard defenders who will defend a cash grab no matter what.

TheBlackSmoke4870d ago

Yeah of course the defenders are the one's who are diehard, when the haters are always the first in EVERY dmc article to comment about it... a game you supposedly hate. Get a life, your tears are delicious.

Blacktric4870d ago

He simply states his opinion on an article that looks at the combat mechanics of the game. Why are you getting so riled up because he's stating his own opinion? This isn't even a review of the game itself as a whole.

Talk about delicious tears...

InTheLab4870d ago

My tears? Lol. You can't defend against my statement so you make up some nonsense. You guys are funny.

KidMachinate4870d ago

I had a feeling this might get attention for some of the wrong reasons.

As Blacktric said, this was mostly talking about the combat and this was posted when I was about a third of the way into the game. I will have a review when I get the time to write/edit for one. It's not all bad, but it's not all good either.

You know, I honestly don't hate this game but I have no desire to play it. I don't mind the changes for the better like how the story is guaranteed to be better because that is what NT does. But some of the changes are unnecessary like the lack of targeting and the Hard/Light attacks present in every NT game, or the wasted buttons like multiple ways to dodge, or the fact that you can stay in the air indefinitely.

You sound like you’re just a ton of fun to be around.

franwex397d ago

It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!

Zenzuu397d ago

One of the best, stylish, and fun action slasher on the system. You definitely should get to it, as soon as you can.

solideagle397d ago

they are taking way too much time with DMC6...

VersusDMC397d ago

The DMC5 team went on to make Dragons Dogma 2, the DMC director (3,4,5) left capcom to make an action game at another studio and the rumor is that a DMC remake is next...so i wouldn't hold my breath on DMC6.
