I hate that they bring facebook games into this. Playing facebook games does not make you a gamer. That's like calling someone who plays monopoly and Jenga alot a gamer.

Well, I know the Dark Souls Ps3 board I believe is legit, along with some others on Steam.

No they matter to the guys that like to stroke their e-penis and apparently the chicks that stroke their e-clit. They are both equals and both shallow if they obsess about it.

To a majority of us(generalizing) gamers, it's not really a big deal if it's a female gamer or a male one. Since it is the SKILL of the gamer your celebrating not the damn gender.

So the whole rah rah girl gamers power, females can play games to speeches ect. is tired and annoying.

We are supposed to be gamers regardless of gender, but by all means continue to segregate yourselves. It will only make integration take that much longer to achieve.

Some people just love to stir up drama.

Oh yeah, what did she model as? An orc? Lol I kid, I really do. My sister plays wow and she was the best warlock on her server. She got lots of crap in raids, where they used teamspeak. She let her skill do the talking.

I think this article, or at least the heading is misleading. My mother plays 'games' on her gadget, as she likes to call it. It's funny, as she would never put herself in the same category as someone like me, who buys retail boxed games, but analysts and such are very quick to try and make a correlation or connection between the two.

In fact, people (like my mother for instance) who play a touch screen mini-game on an iPhone are the polar-opposite of what I consider a
gamer.
