DmC: Devil May Cry Review | Gamer Limit

Gamer Limit: "To be clear, this is not a classic Devil May Cry game. Combat is not nuanced down to exact tenths of a second, you aren’t going to ponder over which ability based unlockables to buy, and there isn’t a whole lot of thinking going on in general.

Still, as an action game, Devil May Cry succeeds far beyond what Ninja Theory has ever accomplished in the past. Whether that can be attributed wholly to their own merits, or a bit of Capcom supervision is unknown, but the fact remains: I have a little more faith in Ninja Theory as a studio from here on out."

This is a fair review from someone who obviously had many reservations. He did a good job of giving credit where its due and by pointing out things he thought were better in older iterations. As far as difficulty is concerned, u have to give NT credit because u know they were forced to streamline for the masses. But they did include other difficulties for the hardcore fan. Yes, it stings to be a longtime fan and feel like a company has no reverence for your love, but this article points out that maybe, just maybe it isnt as black and white as it is portrayed by many. And we may have got a good game afterall. The question is, is some really good danye better than nothing?

It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!

One of the best, stylish, and fun action slasher on the system. You definitely should get to it, as soon as you can.

they are taking way too much time with DMC6...

The DMC5 team went on to make Dragons Dogma 2, the DMC director (3,4,5) left capcom to make an action game at another studio and the rumor is that a DMC remake is next...so i wouldn't hold my breath on DMC6.
