When the first installment came out, it immediately started selling itself on statements like, "You can launch an enemy into the air and then shoot it full of bullets." Dante became the iconic trench-coat-wearing action hero, whose flair for style and ability to shrug off being impaled were essentially the center points of his character. Dante could be eating a pizza one minute and killing demons the next. It was all just routine for him.

It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!
Everytime its on sale I think about buying it but never do. I only played the orginal and somr of 3 so I guess that's part of it.
