
Stat-tracking site GameStrata is banking on gamers' obsessive natures, providing the groundwork for an all-in-one game-tracking Web site. In other words, after a quick registration, GameStrata.com visitors will be able to monitor their gaming progress against everyone else, as well as their specific friends. And unlike other sites, GameStrata spans several platforms-PC and console alike. At least that's the ultimate vision for the company. The site entered beta two months ago with Battlefield 2 and Lost Planet, and Guitar Hero III, Universe at War were added shortly afterward. Game Informer spoke with Lance Smith, co-founder and CEO and Barry Dorf, co-founder and COO of GameStrata and got the scoop on what's ahead for the service, why stats matter and more.
