WC - Ninja Theory’s reboot of the Devil May Cry series was not a game I was looking forward to. Reboots are bad enough in the film world, and to see it now transpiring into video games is certainly more than a little troubling; it indicates that imagination and invention is at an all-time low, that developers are keen to simply rehash old ideas in a new style to rinse gamers of their hard-earned cash. I love the Devil May Cry series, and didn’t even really feel like there was anything wrong with the formula, yet this game proves above all else that having an open-mind is a great thing, because this latest entry proves to be one of the best yet.

Devil May Cry 5 surpasses 10 million sales as Netflix animated series drives major surge in franchise popularity.

Because the anime is on Netflix and we gotta ride that DMC in the news again wave.
It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!
Everytime its on sale I think about buying it but never do. I only played the orginal and somr of 3 so I guess that's part of it.

Steam's Summer Sale looks primed for Steam Deck players - with a huge collection of titles on offer for the handheld.
Good article!

3) I hate Ninja Theory
4) I don't understand the term 'reboot'
5) See point 2)
6) No enemy lock-on during combat (perhaps the only valid complaint)
7) Too much swearing in the dialogue (make that two valid complaints)
8) See point 5)
9) See point 8)
10) Did I mention I hate Ninja Theory?
Sorry, couldn't resist... :-P
Well, screw what the haters say; I can't wait to pick this game up.
