DmC Devil May Cry - Video Review | G4MERS

G4MERS: :New Devil May Cry Tomorrow will be in stores around the world. As for the title Ninja Theory were some concerns, in particular related to the main character of the game, which is no longer the Dante, which over the years we got used to it. Fortunately, after hearing the position of these fears are quickly disappearing. With the new, the old hero, with a new world and a new sound luminaire is still the good old Devil May Cry!"

Damn... and here I though that Capcom would have embargo-ed it! (Nice Review BTW)

"and here I though that Capcom would have embargo-ed it!"

"(Nice Review BTW)"

See the pattern here? This is always the case with controversial releases that's being released by big companies. Early reviews tend to be positive (especially the ones coming from relatively unknown media outlets), since there is a big chance that the company may stop sending early review copies of their upcoming games after seeing the negative review. And feel free to check Metacritic for further confirmation. Every single review shown there are positive while Revision3's review (written by Adam Sessler who gave the game a 3/5) is nowhere to be found.

"I remember people were using reviews sources back when resident evil 6 came out"

"You can't win, and you can't lose lmaoo."

So there's only one way for all this and when people use RE 6 reviews to "moan" it's okay but when DmC gets positive reviews and people "moan", it's wrong because they did the same thing while citing mostly average revies of RE 6? So it's impossible for reviews for a game to be wrong or biased, right?

Such a thing is expected from someone who can't stop saying "lmaooo" in majority of the comments he/she writes.

"I'm more inclined to believe him, over a bunch of n4g users who doesn't work for the industry."

Because Sessler, as someone who was a journalist working for G4 (one of the worst things ever happened to gaming related media after their downfall), was supposed to be impartial and was going to flat out tell that they were receiving bribes or relatively unknown sites receiveing threats from companies over not getting early review copies if they give a negative review... Right?

Why don't you take all of that amazing rebuttal and take it to Geoff Keighley? I'm sure he'll give you a bag of Doritos and two cans of Mountain Dew and a copy of Halo 4 as a reward for being such a smart guy.

Edit: "I don't like battlefield, will I go on every single article moaning about how I dislike it ?"

Is this the same thing? Are we going to an article about a completely irrelevant game and "moaning" about irrelevant things that doesn't interest us? Or are we "moaning" about a game that's supposedly belong to a franchise we know and love for more than a decade because of what they did to it and all of their promises?

I'm sure it pays off to be a person with a horrible taste and constant need to ridicule people in an immature way though. It's no surprise that you love something that purely panders to the lowest common denominator.

Don't know about anyone else, but I for one can't wait to pick this up tomorrow.

Why would someone approve something for an English language site that wasn't in English or did come with a translation?

The love/hate crap with this game has gotten ridiculous.

Edit@zerocrossing:
I'm just questioning the oddity of putting up a video review that isn't in English. I followed the link and there's a full and translated written review, and yet this was submitted as a video review when most of the people here likely can't understand it.

It should have just been offered as a regular review without the video, but because everyone's fighting about the damn game this has been offered in such a way that the actual intent and body of work will be ignored.

The funny thing here is, who's right? is it even possible to be right or wrong when it's all so subjective?

There's plenty of valid reasons for or against DmC, Im sure we can all agree on that.

pandehz4874d ago (Edited 4874d ago )

Ah so I was right with my predictions.

DMC was always gonna be a good game :)

Umm this also shouldnt have been approved, the video is not english on an english website.

Translated articles make sense as its translated so why not translate the video or just not put it here

You sound like you’re just a ton of fun to be around.

It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!

One of the best, stylish, and fun action slasher on the system. You definitely should get to it, as soon as you can.

solideagle397d ago

they are taking way too much time with DMC6...

VersusDMC397d ago

The DMC5 team went on to make Dragons Dogma 2, the DMC director (3,4,5) left capcom to make an action game at another studio and the rumor is that a DMC remake is next...so i wouldn't hold my breath on DMC6.
