The name "Hewson" carries a special weight for anyone who grew up during the golden age of British computing. NE: "We rank the 10 best main series Super Mario games in celebration of the recent MAR10 Day with 2D and 3D included."
Best 2D, Mario World, best 3D, Mario 64. Can't say there's been a bad one, although Mario World 2 wasn't a true sequel. The Mario Land games were good (not the first one) and also Wario Land. I thought after Mario 64, Mario 3D World was excellent.
its a shame that they had to cancel their game protocol, but releasing that late into wiiware lifespan would have been a bad move.
Good to hear they're feeling positive about the eShop after their experiences with the Wii Shop... The Wii Shop has been pretty dead for some time now. Sure, there is still the occasional release but not much and Nintendo does *nothing* to advertise them.
It makes me question the wisdom of releasing Retro City Rampage onto Wiiware. I intend on buying it but how many other people with Wii's even know it exists on that platform? Nintendo needs a way of advertising/downloading Wii games via the Wii U eShop because it's infinitely more presentable and more intuitive than the Wii offering.
