At7addak.com, "Although the game is not out yet, this isn't stopping fans from abusing the demo. They've already dived deep into the game's combat mechanics and have come up with a few cool tricks."

"Buh Buh Buh itz dumbed down"

lol Nope, You can be as creative or brainded mashy as you want, just like all the other dmc games.

edit: did you even watch that video? amount of weapons has nothing do with how complex a game can be. In DMC3 you could only ever equip 2 weapons until the chapter was over, guess that game must be really shallow then? lol fake ass fan.

And wasn't the whole argument that this isn't a dmc game ?, so why is it now a bad thing that it has all the moves from dmc?

No lock on means there's no lock on, the end. What does lock on have to do with depth? stop pulling BS from your ass.

I do like your phantom disagrees guys, just proves you have nothing else to say, I bet most of you couldn't pull off half the shit in this video, enjoy your crow.

It is dumbed down, you only have 5 melee weapons in the entire game and most of the moves are from previous DMCs, also, the fact that they removed auto locking diminished even more the moves you have at your disposal.

Chucky20034873d ago (Edited 4873d ago )

the other games had the same,i don't remember to be more than 5 melee weapons in previous games, well at least in DMC 3 and 4

TheBlackSmoke having one of his rants again because people are hating on a game with legit reasons that he likes.

Yawn

Seriously you have one bubble why not use it on, having a thought out mature comment for once.

If you guys at least had a slight understanding of fighting games about cross-ups, mix-ups, set-ups, cancels, etc. and the complexity all these things bring to the table on a 2D fighting game then it wouldn't be hard to understand why so many fans hate the DMC reboot. Because the thing is that you guys simply don't understand the fundamentals that were brought up by DMC3,then expanded by DMC4 and that no other hack & slash game has been able to copy.

Now with the reboot all that complexity is gone. It's like going from SFIV to Smash Bros. The battle system was casualized for people like you. People that never understood DMC3 and that now see a bunch of canned combos on screen and think that the battle system is deeper than ever when it really is shallower than ever. Everything on this video requires no skill because there is no need for any kind of timing or cancel. These guys are talking about canceling a move by dodging and then hear to what he says at "2:19"... But because you don't understand you can't realize how pathetic this is and to what degree they have dumbed down the battle system for the sake of the casual player.

Now look at this tutorial for DMC4:

Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Even if you don't know anything is clear that DMC4 is the superior one in every way. The execution and timing are insane.

There's nothing to say because it's been said before over and over and over again. Prick.

You sound like you’re just a ton of fun to be around.

franwex394d ago

It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!

Zenzuu394d ago

One of the best, stylish, and fun action slasher on the system. You definitely should get to it, as soon as you can.

solideagle394d ago

they are taking way too much time with DMC6...

VersusDMC394d ago

The DMC5 team went on to make Dragons Dogma 2, the DMC director (3,4,5) left capcom to make an action game at another studio and the rumor is that a DMC remake is next...so i wouldn't hold my breath on DMC6.
