The developers of Meriwether tell their story of looking back to history while developing their RPG based on Lewis Meriwether (Lewis & Clark), in a procedurally-generated adventure across the old frontier.

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "It’s easy to get sucked into the glamour of E3 and only focus on the big, AAA games that were announced and playable at the show floor but there’s actually a ton of other games that don’t get so much exposure that are just as present in Los Angeles and today I got the opportunity to check out a handful of them at the IndieCade booth."

In this edition of Crowdfunding Spotlight, Oprainfall brings focus to Meriwether: An American Epic, an RPG supported by the Lewis & Clark Foundation about the famous Lewis and Clark expedition.

Who doesn’t like history and video games? Assassin’s Creed certainly tries to keep history within video games interesting. There is a new Kickstarter out there that is hoping to blend RPG elements with the Lewis and Clark Expedition. As of right now, it appears that there is some serious interest in it, even to mainstream gamers.
