Radical Entertainment -- more specifically, Lead Designer Eric Holmes and Senior Producer Tim Bennison -- know they're doing something right with Prototype. They essentially nailed the open-world, destructible sandbox formula in their last title, the oft underappreciated Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, and they spent yesterday's Prototype: Open World, Open Mind, Next Generation Thinking panel trying to impart some of their more admirable design philosophies to the GDC masses. In most cases a presentation like theirs might come off as cocky, but from what everything 1UP have seen of the game these last two days, it's good old fashioned, well-deserved confidence, and it can only help them from here.

Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
Hope this comes out soon.
