Imagine the following: you have a map leading to a valuable treasure. But to get to the marked location, you need to go right through an enormous army of Psychos, led by a slightly psychotic lady who wants nothing more but you dead. What would you do? Yup, you voltunteer for this suicide mission by plowing headfirst through all of the aforementioned mess. At least, that's the plan Roland and his companions are sticking to in Borderlands: Unconquered, a new novel by John Shirley.

So the movie cost 155 million to produce and another 30 million dollars to promote . Borderlands movie brought in around 31 million worldwide . So basically, the Borderlands movie was a 154 million commercial for Borderlands video game franchise.
