Disney won't squander the licencing like Lucasarts did. Disney paid billions for Star wars, you better bet they're going to use it.

I expect to see many of the fan demanded games in the next couple years. Likely starting with BF3. But that's all personal opinion.

"Disney won't squander the licencing like Lucasarts did." They are gonna milk it for all its worth... And its all gonna be more kid friendly. They'll also most likely change all the lore around as well.

This depends entirely on which way Disney wants to go. Honestly I can't even guess what they will do.

Disney bought the rights to one of the most lore heavy sagas around. My first questions:

1. Do they recognize any responsibility for it?

2. How will they control it?

When/if those are answered we might have a better idea on their future plans. I'm not worried about them making it any more "kid friendly" than it already is. What worries me is Disney steam-rolling 20+ years of lore.

Only thing I feel comfortable predicting is that whatever they decide to do with the movies games will surely follow.

But until Disney proves otherwise, I'm going to assume that the established SW franchises (BF3, JK, etc.) won't be making a come back. LA has lost all credibility, and until Disney hints on getting involved with SW games then I have to assume business as usual.

Side note: I'll bet the sale to Disney was why 1313 was previewed well before it was an actual game.
