GR: At an event in early December, Electronic Arts laid out their entire 2013 catalog (so far) and let us go to town. Despite new games like Fuse or big-budget FPSs like Crysis 3, I was most interested in seeing more of Dead Space 3.
If EA and Motive Studio plan on remaking all the main Dead Space entries, they have to change a lot of what made Dead Space 3 so divisive.
Simple, do not bother with a Dead Space 3 remake. Rather have a new entry for Dead Space.
Yeah I agree. Make a dead space 3, but have an original story/setting. They’ve proven they can do the game justice, and I think they could evolve 2 in a good direction, keeping a similar tone. I’d love s Dead Space 2 and 3 though. The remake was fantastic. Top tier remake, up there with RE2.
Remaking 3 would need to be a reworked and somewhat changed remake as 3 was flawed in most peoples eyes and the worst entry.

They need to seriously continue this ip with a new entry. Even if it's just another movie I don't care I love everything about this game.

I think there's always cause for concern when a dev developed unnecessary things like multiplayer or well, this.
The last horror game left after the fall of RE and it's turned into crap, I'm gobsmacked still.
I thought to myself after seeing RE6, right DS3 can't go wrong, they can not screw this up, they make this a full on horror game and all the ex RE fans will flock to this and they'll have a bigger audience...but no, EA and VG are idiots, they've done to DS what Capcom did to RE. EA must of known the backlash of it and yet they still did it.
I just hate the "Co-op is Optional" when it's still messed the game up, they made the levels with two people in mind, they crafted the story with this god awful generic, soldier grunt character while dumbing Ellie down so it's still ruined.
God I hope gamers will have some common sense and not give EA the satisfaction of giving them their money.
