Because you can see the future and know what characters are going to be part of the game. It doesn't matter if they want to put the character in the game, it's if the developer wants to put it in the game. Do you think they could just put a Chimera or Nathan Hale without talking and convincing Insomniac and asking their permission first? You should be asking Insomniac why they are taking so long to let Nathan Hale or a Chimera into the game.I am sure Superbot would be happy to accept an offer of new characters but what can they do until Insomniac gives the go ahead?

@ PhunnyJesta that is not up to Superbot or Sony. That is up to Activision and they don't have to listen or give up their characters if they don't want to. They don't have to follow Sony's schedule or their needs. They can damn well put Crash or Spyro if or when they want. Did you expect them to delay the whole game until Activision decided to hear them out? Suppose Activison told them they could negotiate with them until six months after the game was supposed to be released, should they have waited six more months just to put them in? Remember they are working on the developers terms not theior own. They can easily just say no and it wouldn't affect them in the least.

I don't think this is the last of the DLC for this game. Also, we have stages from resistance. So, I'm sure we will see them in the game, but before we do, SuperBot has to get the okay from insomniac.

Let's hope we get someone from OddWorld and Persona Games as well. I know the Developers would like to see them in the game. And the best thing about this is getting encouragement from other developers.

IMO, I think we are seeing Kat and Emmett in this game to help make them more known and help sell their current and maybe future titles.

Wow, so they haven't put in Wander/Colossus from a game of legacy and you're complaining about Resistance?

They didn't have time. Balancing is the biggest issue to worry about. Sure, they could have added the characters in, but it would have taken even more time to balance them out with the rest of the characters.

This was my experience, it was a poor man's Smash, but they had to try and standout/separate themselves somehow. Now there's multiple Smash clones out, it might be a good time to try again but come up with better mechanics.
