John Bedford (Modojo): Earlier today we published our review of Zynga's fantastic new clay-motion game Clay Jam. Produced by the talented developers at Fat Pebble in Brighton, England we've been absorbed in its Katamari-like gameplay ever since we got our hands on it.
Need a helping hand to master the basics? We've got all the information you need right here.

JIG: Squishy and malleable, colorful and in great peril. That pretty much sums up the creatures in Clay Jam, an arcade game from Fat Pebble that lets you save a world of clay creatures from the clay nemeses that are gobbling them up like tasty appetizers. You've got the power of physics on your side, however, rolling down hills, squishing small monsters to gain mass and make a mad leap from the island to knock the big bad guys away. Heroic.

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Here we are, the best iOS games of the year. We started with a list of 200, whittled that down to about 100, then the gloves came off, as we fought to include certain titles and said painful goodbyes to others. The result is a snapshot of 2012, the 50 iPhone and iPad games that stood out the most. That said, join us each day as we make the countdown. On that note, it's time for games 40-31.

Pocket Gamer: We've all played with clay or a clay-like substance at some point in our lives, whether in art lessons while wearing an apron, at the kitchen table on a sheet of paper, or in some less controlled environment where you can make a horrible mess.
