Ummmmm, Onimusha 3 was set in Europe for part of the game and it was a really good game. So yeah...

Even if it was in europe it was not westernize. Just about every western dev that touched a japanese franchise ruined it.

Onimusha i get sad every time i think what could happen to this game i dont want more drama from ninja theory.

However it's not like Ninja Gaiden (black). It's FAR worse.

What issues would those be? Are you saying you did not think DMC 3 had good combat?

did u even play the demo...the game kicks dmc4 ass..dmc4 was a let down.

Just curious....But you always bring up DMC 3 and 4. Have you ever played the other two games in the series? And Im not trying to pick a fight with you or anything Im just curious

Because it seems to me that while its definitely not like the most recent two games its a bit similar to the first two.

But most gamers of this generation I know havent played the earlier games in the franchise (at least not until recently with the HD collection being availible)

BTW Dmc 4 in my opinion is probably among the worst in the series. Theres honestly not too many positive things I can say about it. Its like....if you think Dante is a douche in the reboot he wasnt exactly charming in Dmc 4. Hell he was kind of annoying in Dmc 3 . But the gameplay was so awesome I let it slide .

DmC's combat is casual? Are you serious? What is this casual? You can chain combos, use different techniques and different weapons while in combos. Everything you can do from DMC3 and 4 you can do in this new DmC.

I think a lot of people are getting their terms and lack of understanding in the way of a really great game that has potential.

I for one was impressed with DmC and even though I won’t buy it because I hardly buy any game. I will rent it from Gamefly and if I truly like then I'll buy it from them for a used price.

I dont think Dmcs combat is casual the controls are more accessible. looks like some of the unlockable difficulties are pretty challenging

It's honestly what I think will happen as well. Some here don't believe it, but I do not think Capcom would have given the franchise over to a Western developer if this was not their last ditch to make huge profit from it. There is no way, if they willingly chose to do so, that they would go back.

Or think of it this way, the talent and producer who made DmC is gone. And even if they continued I bet 100% we would get a lot of folks complaining about the game being the same thing or redundant.

Now that Capcom breathed new life into the series people are upset and why? Because Dante doesn't look like an Anime character?

Your Great memories are still there, that's why we call it nostalgia and you shouldn't live in it. All the skill you got? Can it not be translated to this game? Was it supposed to automatically carry over from every sequel?

A problem with your idea Ben, this game doesn't require any skill at all, I beat the demo in the highest difficulty available using a single attack. That's a fucking joke frankly for an action game.
