it's not impressive since the game is way to easy

You can choose a higher difficulty if you want.

GSpartan7774940d ago (Edited 4940d ago )

Higher difficult doesn't change much other than enemy that requires specific weapon to kill appear more often. Other than that the amount of damage you take is hardly significant to consider it a major challenge. Nephlim mode, the second highest difficulty in the demo is equivalent to normal mode of DMC3 vanilla.

It's not about the difficulty, it's about how the game plays.

Which, unsurprisingly, is pretty close to Heavenly Sword. You even have the same weapon system, light melee standard, heavy and ranged melee mapped to the shoulders.

It's not bad, and under certain circumstances it would be welcome, but functionally it just dumbs down the game.

Final product will have more difficulty levels, DMC is my favorite game of all time and I beat it on dante must die mode back in the day. Having said that I found the combat refreshing and tight. I had fears of the easiness as well, but then I saw all the different levels NT is offering for newcomers and veterans in the final game. Have patience, I hated this game when I saw the first trailer, but the gameplay is pretty cool and I don't miss the 60fps..yet. I'm actually looking forward to this. Also if the above is not that impressive please post a video of what you can do in this game with proof it is you playing.

What idiot wrote the title to this? only mouth breathers capitalize the first letter of every word, looks incredibly stupid.

pixelsword4940d ago (Edited 4940d ago )

I don't think the "DmC" needs to be there after they spell-out the actual title; but other than that, if I'm not mistaken, after the actual "Devil May Cry" the rest should be capitalized except for "with" because it's a preposition. I am speaking technically, of course; I'm going by "Chicago Style" as well, if you follow me.

It's so common here because a lot of bloggers don't have classical journalistic skills that people can get a little confused looking at the titles.

Pozzle4940d ago (Edited 4940d ago )

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, the full title of the game is "DmC Devil May Cry".

It is DmC: Devil May Cry; I stand corrected, thanks!

You sound like you’re just a ton of fun to be around.

franwex416d ago

It’s been sitting in my backlog for a while now. One of the first games I wanted to try for this current gen due to the long load times of previous gen. I’ll get around to it soon!

One of the best, stylish, and fun action slasher on the system. You definitely should get to it, as soon as you can.

solideagle415d ago

they are taking way too much time with DMC6...

VersusDMC415d ago

The DMC5 team went on to make Dragons Dogma 2, the DMC director (3,4,5) left capcom to make an action game at another studio and the rumor is that a DMC remake is next...so i wouldn't hold my breath on DMC6.

Everytime its on sale I think about buying it but never do. I only played the orginal and somr of 3 so I guess that's part of it.
