Circle Entertainment is bringing Crystal Adventure to the DSiWare service (yes, it does still exist) on December 6th, 2012.
Crystal Adventure looks to be a unique RPG experience similar to that of a roguelike, a sub-genre of role-playing games.

Mini Fortress writes:
"Crystal Adventure was released on the DSiWare service on December 6, 2012 and published by Circle Entertainment. Crystal Adventure is an Action-adventure game – heavy on adventure and light on action – with RPG elements that features an overhead view."

NWR: RPGs are at their best when they strike a perfect balance between story, gameplay, and customization. When these three elements work in tandem, they create something truly memorable. Crystal Adventure doesn’t have that kind of balance.

First impressions are not Crystal Adventure's strong point. After ten minutes I was stuck thanks to a silly auto-save system, and forced to start over from the beginning.
