Last gen I had all 3 but this gen I don't, why... a couple of reasons,

First off the wii I had that for 3 weeks and was very disappointed in it, I am sorry it was not my cup of tea. It was a lot of lather, rinse and repeat it seemed with me.

So I don't like it at all.

360 great online great LIVE setup I enjoyed all 3 of them I had and got fed up with them dieing all the time.

I am sorry no matter what a systems life force is the games that is key for a great system but when you can't play games on that system because it is a POS for hardware.

PS3 This is the best system for me and I am enjoying it very much. I have a hard time finding very little wrong with it but it is not perfect but as time goes on it is getting better.

The online is great that it is free but there friends interaction is a little harder than with LIVE.

With that said it is getting better.

So does this make me a Fanboy because I want Sony to do well. Not really because I feel that good games on competing system does two things.

A - It gives other gamers great games and why should I wish for other gamers to get crapy games.

B - Great games on other system raises the bar and make developers for my system want better games.

So as far as I am concerned Fanboys hurt us as gamers as a whole and that there are gamers out there that may have one system and still not be a fanboy.

I hate being labeled one when I say something negative about a system but there is something we all know that is wrong with all the systems.

Sorry for the length and that is my 2 cents.

I love how 360 fanboys think they're different from PS3 fanboyss in some way (and vice versa) even though, despite console preference, all fanboys are the damn same.

All in all they are a dangerous bunch of misfits and should be regarded with a high degree of caution.

It's simple they're afraid their preference will not be #1 and they'll lose exclusives or have their console get discontinued.

Another real reason is gamers are naturaly competitive. Debating about who's console is better by spreading FUD or propaganda they become part of a political game that entertains their agenda.

As an agent of their preference their entertained by the freedoms and anonymity of the internet.

To these people fourms and articles are score boards and the ones that can do the most harm to their enemy console have the highest score.

Sales figures are also considered a like a gamer score and fans of the winning system constantly use them as bragging rights.

So the next time someone says "why can't we just play games and be happy" Remember this, debating on a fourm for your favorite product is in fact entertainment for some. Most people fail to realise these boards wouldn't be popular if these debates didn't exist. All in all it's just a game to some people (most of which can't be playing one at the moment)

I never knew that PS3, Blu-ray and Walkmans flopped. Did you know that "BetaMAX" lasted until this decade? How about your HD-DVD add-on Zhuk, do you think that flopped too despite the fact that it took HD-DVD only a year to nosedive to the ground? lol
