NWR: For the first time in my almost weekly visits to GameStop, I got to try the Wii U, specifically Rayman Legends. This demo required two people: one player using the GamePad, and one using a Wii Remote and Nunchuk. I also could have used an AI partner, but thankfully a GameStop employee joined me, and with a little cooperation we were able to play some of the demo.

A little-known game Puppeteer is on this list for the best PS3 platformers.
Puppeteer is really good. Nobody played it because it came out right before PS4 came out. When I went to pick up Puppeteer from GameStop some people were trading in their old consoles for PS4 preorder.

Ubisoft barely have a leg to stand on lately, so do they need to crack open the vaults and return platforming royalty to glory for some goodwill?
We need Rayman 4, they could make a great platformer game if they wanted. With the open hub levels and the like.
Better than relying on Rabbids and Assassins Creed all the time
Yes..but I am sure it won't be the Rayman game fans want. Not from the company that is Ubisoft today.
Ancel is retired from games. His hoodlum/rabbid team are doing their own thing. It would not be the same if Ubisoft did.
Experience points, skill trees to fill up, level gating, endless menial tasks and side quests, constantly scrounging for resources. Always having to upgrade your gear. A.KA. "The Ubisoft effect".
No thanks, don't ruin Rayman's legacy.

A decade on from Rayman Legends' release, it remains a near perfect platformer, so what happened to Rayman? Will we ever see another sequel?
I agree with the reviewer .. the demo of rayman was really good and the graphics were really crisp .. no jaggies and no grainyness to anything...
When I looked over at the ps3 and xbox demo stations playing their respective games I literally thought to myself "Man do graphics really look that grainy still?"
