TouchGen: As we mentioned earlier this week, Videogame Hall of Famer Jordan Mechner is releasing a modern remake of Karateka. A beat’em up that was a forerunner (tech-wise) to Prince Of Persia. Well, today the game hit the Xbox Live Arcade, with plans to release an iOS version later this month.
The mind behind Prince of Persia shares his family’s life story as well as his own as a videogame developer in an emotional and very personal book.

A few months ago, a Wii U listing of the Karateka remake popped up on the ESRB. The game’s launch came and passed… yet there was no news about it heading to the eShop.
For anybody who hasn't played the game... This is a blessing. Not a "Aliens: Colonial Marines" blessing but a blessing nonetheless. As much as I like to see the Wii U library grow this game was a mess.
Gee, what a surprise.
