Jordan Lund got some hands-on time with Microsoft's upcoming Surface tablet.
Excerpt: "The type keyboard cover is far better for typing than the touch keyboard cover, but the touchpad for mouse control is better on the touch than the type. The buttons are easier to work without error. This may be something that can be adjusted in software, but frankly I didn’t think to do that until just now.
The touch keyboard is not buttons, nor is it an Atari 400 style membrane. the letters are raised on little rubber bumps that do not depress when you touch them. it’s almost like a touch screen keyboard in that respect. you just touch the keys and they work. This took a little getting used to, but I’d think after 20 or 30 minutes it would be 2nd nature. I had to stop myself from pressing down on the buttons."

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
