DG: Zombie games of all shapes and sizes are a dime a dozen these days on the mobile gaming scene. One such new game vying for attention is Zombie Driver THD, which is actually a full-on console and PC port in terms of content. It is one thing to boast console quality content, and another to see if all this is wrapped in a mobile-friendly package. Does Zombie Driver THD make the cut in that respect?
Nvidia’s Tegra 4 architecture is rocking, providing console like graphics rendering on portable handsets. The Tegra 4 is almost six times faster than the Tegra 3. The Tegra 3 had a handful of games that took advantage of its architecture, and we saw how the visual quality improved with the respective chipset.
The Tegra 4, based on the ARM Cortex-A15 CPU and can clock upto 1.9 Ghz. Nvidia’s portable gaming device, the Nvidia SHIELD also sports the Tegra 4 architecture. So far, there are no smartphones supporting the Tegra 4, only the iPhone 5′s A6X processor offers the same level of performance. However, there are a couple of tablets that are coming with the Tegra 4.

Earlier we brought you a list of Tegra optimized games that were released yesterday with the intention of coinciding with the launch of the Tegra 4 powered nVidia Shield. Today you can add a half a point to that list. Polish game developer EXOR Studios, under the banner “nVidia Tegra Partners” has released a special edition of their XBLA gone mobile game Zombie Driver THD that is optimized for Tegra 4 devices, including the nVidia Shield while also dropping the price by 75%.
