From Ezio in Assasin's Creed to God of War's Kratos, and more, the 411 staff ranks their top 5 video game killers of all time!

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
Alanah Pearce, who was a writer at Sony Santa Monica for several years and worked on God of War Ragnarök, has shed more light on the sex minigames which cropped up in the series' earlier entries.
Other than looking like that, why does anyone care about what she has to say about anything?

Kratos’ story in the God of War series now spans more than twenty years of video games. Throughout that time, the character has appeared across different eras
"Sephiroth's inclusion may be a bit odd to some, being as the fact that he's more of villain archetype than a pure killer. "
That's not even why i'm shocked he is always in such list . It's more about him accomplished nothing much villainy wise .
So ok he killed "beloved Aeris" before the heroes eyes , but that's it . He doesnt accomplish a lot else , even if obviously by the end , should he succeed the world is doomed . His biggest efforts are in spin offs like kingdom hearts and crisis core .
It seems like they are just having a bit of fun but I'm still irked that Kratos was only on one person's list, and only ranked number two!
Of course I'm biased but Kraotos is the baddest mofo killing machine in video games. How many other video game characters are murdering gods left and right, ripping off their heads with his bare hands? How many others get killed, fight their way back from hell, kill the god that sent them there, kill some more gods, goes back to hell, kills the devil (Hades), comes back from hell again, kill the head god, kills himself, only to most likely come back again for another sequel? :)
EA is the #1 video game killer. hehe
