More speculation.... give it a rest already.

Don't believe this, we didn't know about this 3D before WHY?

I totally agree that I think the Project Manager didn't word it correctly. I think that the game on the TV can be displayed in 3D just like on the other consoles, however I think we would know if the gamepad had a screen that was 3D capable. Although that could possibly explain why the gamepad is so expensive (assuming it did have a screen that could display 3D images).

The main issue this presents is if you do happen to own a 3DTV and you want to play AC3 in 3D, whenever you look down at the gamepad, there is going to be some serious issues with the 3D glasses interfering with the gamepad screen (assuming it is not 3D capable). The other issue is, if it is in fact 3D capable - is it Passive or Active. I have a 3DTV that requires the Active shutter glasses, but if the gamepad screen is passive, then I can't use them both at the same time. Same would be true in the reverse (passive 3DTV with active gamepad screen).

So ultimately I believe this to be a little too hokey to be true. Couple this with the fact that Nintendo believed in its glasses free 3D for the 3DS, so the likelihood of this being real is slim to none.

But an interesting topic to debate regardless. I guess we will find out for sure in a few weeks.

I don't know about the gamepad..... But I really hope that the game itself is 3D ready. I always want to take advantage of my 3D TV~

I'm still highly skeptical of this, however.

Not sure about the gamepad but event he GC was capable of 3D. I don't know. 3D isnt exactly the big seller Sony was making it out to be when it was announced for PS3. Since then and the launch of the 3DS and its glassless 3D it seems Sony no longer is trying to push it as the next big thing. Maybe the Wii U does in fact support 3D and Nintendo doesnt consider it one of the main selling points of the console.

Also we do not know the full extent of what it is capable of. It could be announced at the next Nintendo direct or it could just die like the rumor it is.

It looks pretty cool, it makes sense, anything with a screen can be turned 3D and we know Nintendo has an interest in 3D anyways. It might be a firmware update or who knows. Might be one of their secrets they're holding back

You never know with Nintendo, they like to pull out all the last minute stops! Personally, I'm looking forward to this.

I personnaly think that it is true cause all the things we know about the gamepad right now is only a fraction of all the options declared by nintendo in previous interviews !! so i would not be surprised if the 3d would be on the gamepad !!
+ if the WiiU can read 3Dmovies so why not enable the 3D on the gamepad ?? nintendo always surprise us !! and if it came from the product manager as imgmr.com said !! i think theyre legit !!!

with the 3DS killing it, 3D gamepad makes a lot of sense. Nintendo is smart

Is it just me, or is this whole "3D Craze" thing not that impressive? What do you guys think?
