With Disney recently acquiring LucasFilm and promising new Star Wars movies, will this change?
Disney Interactive Studios’ and Warren Spector’s Epic Mickey was relatively well-received by both critics and gamers.
Could this save the future of Star Wars video games?

LucasArts turned the podrace from The Phantom Menace into a full game in 1999, and somehow it still absolutely works. Fast, chaotic, and way better than it had any right to be.

Mickey Mouse has been the star of some amazing retro Disney games, including Castle of Illusion.

Celebrate 24 years of Star Wars Episode I: Racer! Relive the iconic podracing classic that redefined speed and chaos in the Star Wars universe.
great game, I played it on the pc when it came out,
the pc was better than the N64 version as it had better graphics, music, and fmv's
I never played the dreamcast version
Hmm.. hard to say. its not like Star Wars games have always sucked, but we certainly have been in a sucky-drought for the past 6 or 7 years. I'm cautiously optimistic for the future of SW and games.. I just want SWBF3 so bad though.
But I really hope episode 7 8 and 9 have more of that "used galaxy"/western feel to them that was missing from the dull prequels
Just when you thought Lucas couldn't do anything worse - he turns it over to the pros.
Bravo sir. Bravo.
But how know: maybe this actually is a good thing.
Well i don't think they can get any worse then what's come out this generation. so I'm hoping for the best.
At least now I see a potential future for BF3
wait... more star wars movies?
and, well, if the word "kinect" happens to appear in front of every star wars game title from now on, then yes... they will suck.
