The third in a set of mysterious Sony videos. This one is called "The Aftermath". The videos are most likely hyping the release of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

playstation all stars would have been good if you could finish without ultimate moves. Made the game so boring and repetitive. The rest of the combat was really fun but that just killed it for me. Look at smash where you can get such creative kills and here you just wait for lvl 3 ult and press one button.
While Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale didn't get the best review, there are still some aspects of the game that deserve some credit.
Though PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale is a bit of a cult classic, it could have been a big hit if it launched in 2022 instead of 2012.
It wouldn't have mattered, Sony would've rushed it out and left it to die. More so now than before with their focus now being on SP narrative driven AAA games.
Oh, but somehow Smash Bros. 64 made it work?

I think it released at the right time. It's just after the success of Smash and Multiversus, it's finally time for a sequel.
I'd be all in on a remake or remaster of the original. I enjoyed it because I didn't sit there and compare every aspect to SSB. I just enjoyed it as it was.
Sony should make part 2 and dump a good amount of money on it. Scrap super only kills and it's bound to succeed.

But what would the point be in building excitement if it ends up being just an extra character in PSASBR? And if it's just a new add campaign, that will be seen as disappointing too. I really hope there's more to it than that because, if not, I'd put this down as a misstep, especially when the press are eager to find anything they can to discredit Sony.
