This game looks amazing graphically but gameplay wise i need to see more of to convice me to buy this for my Xbox 360. At least its a AAA exclusive for the Xbox 360.

I hope they work on the charector animation and smooth out the tiny jerky movement at the end of; for the most part is dam good natural motion. The games starting to look photo real.

Agreed!. J/K. The hole family will sit back and watch this tittle as if it were a movie. Mind blowing graphics and from what i read dam good story and wide custumization makes for an AAA tittle. Can't wait to go clubing in this game.

It's an action RPG. (REAL TIME ACTION). It plays like GRAW & GoW minus the cover feature. That i know of.

If you have a 360 and an Internet connection you can go to the market place and down load a game play walk though. It is a third person style games.

You'll know what I mean. I already saw how the low polygon counts are negatively affecting the chracter facial animations (which is obviously not the developer's fault since they're making the most out of the hardware). Looks pretty good in screenshots but in motion...

It's kind of like what happened with Gears of War. I still have hope for Bioshock though.

Not, ...It's sad when a negative fony sony wannabe boy makes such untrue claims. But, you'll see when the game comes out right, just like as in GoW, awesome and ultra realistic graphics and game play. But, I guess you have to say something negative due to your handicapped game system, right.

DJ, i don't know man. I even mention this above. "in motion" blows these pics away. the walk through you can down load on market place is unreal.
i show it to people who come over to my house, some gamers some not. everyone of them had to be convinced it was a real game.

bottom line is...in motion it looks photo realistic.

I am so happy with this game the best Graphics for any RPG i have ever seen. The dialague is brilliant finally your guy actually speaks not just stands thier like an idiot while you select lines for him to say. Whats even better is he speaks with conviction the game is really believable.

if there was a game i would buy a 360 for, it would probally be this game. the graphics are good enough to be mistaken for pre-rendered CG. i just hope the final product displays a good framerate though.

please ps3fans, don't come around here and say this game looks like crap, i'm a ps3fan and i own a 360 and i'm waitng for this game and can't wait for GOW. see, if i like something i will say it, if i'm not agree with somebody i will say it, and i know ps3 will be like a beast but i have to say that 360 is a great console even though im just waiting for GOW and HALo 3 and this one.

If your favorite game is GT4...well, the 360 is for you. GT4 is optimized with 2 exclusive episodes for the 360. And from what the developers said the episodes are HUGE. And Rockstar is already familiar with the 360, so don't be surprised if it runs better and looks better on the 360. Or you can spend 600 dollars to play your favorite game...Minus all the extra content and graphical touches. Thanks Microsoft.

BTW...Mass Effect's walkthrough gameplay on xbox live for download is Amazing.

If those downloadable episodes just came free on the PS3 version. (let's see how many people take that seriously)

Rockstar hasn't been clear on what their position on the two versions of GTA 4 is. If you look at their titles, they're not like EA. They take advantage of as much power from each system that they can instead of wussing out and trying to make everything equal.

So I'm really interested to see if they do anything to take advantage of PS3's faster memory, higher CPU/GPU bandwidth, and just overall more powerful system specs. If they do it'd be awesome; if they don't it'll just end up looking like the 360 version.

They haven't commented on what, if any, differences there will be between the two versions in terms of visual quality or content. In fact, Rockstar has the ability to make exclusive downloadable content for Sony. And should this be the case, it'll be interesting to see how gamers and journalists react to that situation. Will they start making reviews for downloadable content and comparing the quality across platforms? Odd but exciting possibilities.

the gpu doen't have faster bandwidth than the 360 they both have 22.4/gps but the 360 has a 256bit bus unlike the ps3 that has a 128bit flex i/o bus but even so this will not have that much barring on the way GT4 will look.
It will be which machine will handle the streaming better the 360 will have the advantage of better and faster compression and a faster streaming from the dvd drive but the ps3 will have a native hd personally i think the 360 verion will look better because the compresion will make the bandwidth faster but as it's multiformat it would make any sence not to share graphical resourses so they will end up looking the same.
oh yeah and mass effect look's amazing also looking forward to seeing the 360 version of alan wake i think that will look better than mass effect as far as graphic go.

remeber when that x box guy said that pro evo will be an exclussive for 12 months? and konami denied it, so u never know.
untill rockstar confirms it i will belive nothing and btw they took out the dirty scenes in the ps2 versions and the hackers unlocked it so u never know.

That means it won't be able to download it for the PS3, but it could already be built on the disc considering Blu Ray is double HD-DVD disc space and all this nonsense is unofficial rumours comming from a guy who says pro Evo 07 and Fifa 07 are exclusive for a year, when in actual fact that exclusive deal started like half a year ago lol!

The press release says EXCLUSIVE CONTENT. Given that this conent isn't due for completion until 2 months after the release of the game, I'd love to see how they are going to put it on a disc...

Hopefully this Game will liveup to expectations and not be a disapointment like TDU was. Think about it, If Mass Effect holds true then this could possibly be what GTA was to the last generation and put MS over the top. Seriously guys I think this is THE GAME that will make the shift, although im sure Sony has a few cards ready to blow us away.. IE: JAK and Daxter The lost Frontier??? seriously! dont sleep on Jak!

i have scanned some of the comments and made some myself on this. but i noticed some of you wondering how this game will play (combat system and such). i have noticed some saying things like, it reminds me of jade empire.

you guys may or may not know this. Bioware who made Knights of the Old Republic (1st one), and Jade Empire is make this game.

so my guess, and watching the walk through on market place is that it will play a lot like those two games.

It looks to me like there going to give the player alot more control this time around! My guess is that Bioware really wants to immerse you into this epic tale by allowing or almost giving you total control! The only thing that looks reminiscent to KOTOR and Jade is the dialog system which has been revamped to go along smoothly and more intelligently with the story!

Sounds good.
For some reason the visuals don't blow me away. Now that's not because i'm a PS3 fan because i'm not (check the comments i've made, and i have a 360) it's because of the little details around the facial area and the bodies. I however am very hard to please so i probably will have to wait for the gen after this to recieve what i really want.

Anyway sounds good and i'm looking forward to it

Im kinda with you on that but personally believe that this generation we will see a quantum leap somewhere down the road in terms of technology! After watching Alan Wake I immeadiatley realized that as soon as developers start to focus solely on the 360's multicore cpu's we will then start to see a difference going well beyond Wake! This game however does look nice but I can't even imagine what part 2 or 3 will look like once developers get a much better idea of what this hardware is capable of! All of this console war crap and 1st and 2nd gen games comparision stuff really doesn't mean anything until the 360 is fully unleashed!

i don't know if GTA4 will look better on 360 but i will get it on ps3 cause i have GTA vice city on ps2 and i have GTA sanandres on ps2 and i love sony so i'll get GTA4 on ps3. i cant say GTA 4 will look better on 360 cause ps3 is not even out yet.
