One of the big, negative points made about the Wii U’s handling of voice chat is that the console won’t make use of wireless headsets. Mad Catz’s products are wired, as are the headsets made by Turtle Beach.

Give the thing some time to release cheaper options for wireless chatting.. It will be around soon enough.. What uses that feature is whats concerning.. If they release 1st party online multiplayer games w/o chatting options, I would be pretty upset about it but i doubt they would do something like that in this day & age

So... can I connect my bluetooth headset?

PopRocks3594971d ago

The Wii U is confirmed to support Bluetooth. So I wouldn't doubt it.

I hope we can. I don't want to use these headsets as I have a perfectly capable 5.1 AV system for my sound that I want to actually be able to hear.

Best 2D, Mario World, best 3D, Mario 64. Can't say there's been a bad one, although Mario World 2 wasn't a true sequel. The Mario Land games were good (not the first one) and also Wario Land. I thought after Mario 64, Mario 3D World was excellent.
