If you didn't buy it for the Xbox 360 already that means you was not going to buy it. Why shouldn't microsoft get some money out people like you too? One of the advantages that developers have is that microsoft do not mind xbox 360 games to be ported to the PC. Why should they? More money! And no... this game is still exclusive... Microsoft exclusive... Yes... you running the game on Microsoft windows.. which is a Microsoft platform and revenue stream... get used to it.... this game will be concidered exclusive as long as is not released on the PS3 and the wii. Pick... the PC or Xbox 360... you are still supporting Microsoft... they are still the publisher!

EA is the publisher for the PC version and also even though MS still gets money for it being on a Microsoft OS they are still giving people a reason to not buy a 360. How is that good business?

Available on more platforms => more sales => more money => more funding to future games (hopefully) => better future games.

sorry ar, but thats nonsense. There is a reason for exclusivity, the reason is forcing people to buy the needed system to play. Thereby you generate more sales as the people won't just buy one game, they tend to buy more once they have the system sitting at home.

If you water down your exclusive crown jewels you send the message that you are not fully committed to the system and only aim for short term cash. Following your reasoning we should await a Halo3 for Wii, PS2 and PS3, right? cause its just about the cash, right?
(lets ignore the fact that most of the Xbox360->PC conversions perform horribly and sometimes try to force you to use Vista, another reason to avoid them)

you mean GAMING PCs, obviously. Gaming pcs are cool i suppose, but i would rather spend the cost difference between a really good Gaming PC ($2000) and a console ($400) on something like a harmon kardon receiver, which would more than make up for the graphical difference between the high end PC and console. and besides, i would rather be sitting on my comfortable couch with my feet up on my coffee table in front of a big screen surrounded by home theater speakers (*breath in*) than at my computer desk.

And I wouldn't. At least a million people bought Crysis, so some people definitely think differently from you. This is all your opinion, what's your point? There are lots of gamers on the PC, and although we don't buy everything day one, sales on our platform historically accumulate at a much more steady pace than console games. Just look at sales numbers for Gears of War or even Halo 3 now, they're winding down.

EA has revealed, during their conference call, that Crysis has reached platinum status. Of course the game has sold 1 million units worldwide, not in the US. In fact Crysis, as most PC games, has probably sold much more in Europe than in the US. I would say that Crysis has sold around 700k or 800k units in Europe and I suppose the sales in Germany alone were bigger than the american ones.

Otherwise i'm pretty happy that ME comes to the PC. I was wondering about getting a 360 for this game but now i'll just have to wait a few weeks to play the game on my PC.
