SOOOO very sorry folks. They meant a 4 out of 10 and not 5. Seriously this is the best selling flop of a game this year, so many high hopes seen in pre orders and now so many dissapointments.

Theirs so many basic mechanics such as jumping that the game fails on and yet they advance zombies into elite soldiers. Those horrid QTE quick time events and lol well theirs so many things that went wrong in RE6 and I was sooo hoping RE5 would of taught them that lesson but alas, it did not.

its not that bad ... is it?

No, it's a very good game, long campagins but not too long, variety of settings to play in and great fun. My only complaint is the end boss for Chris and Leon. Otherwise, very good game.

RE5 was a good game though. :)

Gamers like to complain but they just want a perfect game without thinking about how hard it is to create.

Resident Evil was never scary, it was just harder. And people don't realise that if you get rid of the fixed camera, tanky controls and huge recoil on guns, which were only present because of the controllers and technology at the time, the gameplay will have to change.

They brought back the Zombies for Leons campaign and while it was good, you can just run right past them. You can pass every enemy unless it's a boss. Which I like because I was taught to conserve ammo in the old resi games by running past them.

It's a good game and all these haters are going to make the series worse by just bashing the game and not praising it all where it got things right.

The truth is that without the hardcore fans the RE series would have died a long time ago before there ever was a casual market to sell games too. With that said, gamers need to realize that the way companies work nowadays they need to sell millions of copies of a game to break even and make a decent profit.

The sad reality is that the video games industry is very much a business and the time of making games thats a developer loves is coming to an end for many companies. You still see this spirit alive and well in the Indie games community, but folks need to realize that a lot of that is because you are talking about a small team or even an 1 person team. Just look at Team Meat.

Capcom had to make a decision on rather or not a triple A true survival horror game would sell or if a triple A action game with some survival horror elements would sell well. They decided to play it safe and go after the action audience because games like CoD sold 9 million copies within 2 weeks. There isn't a similar equivalent for survival horror games. RE6 could have been that equivalent, but Capcom choose not to risk millions of dollars worth of investment on what people might buy.

RE6 is an Action game with small survival horror elements and it sold relatively well. People are upset that they didn't get their survival horror game but that doesn't make RE6 the worst game ever. In fact, RE6 is a decent game with some good concepts. I respect that people are upset, but that doesn't make it a bad game.

NOOOOOOOOOO
In what mind make sense to do this with the worse game on the series 🤦🏿

I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.

Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.

Chances are their next remake will be 5.

Profchaos530d ago

I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment

Isn’t it already backwards compatible?
