well I'm a huge dmc fan and don't mind if it got reboot.the new one looks intresting.im just glad the series didn't get cancel like onimusha.so yea the developers are not hurting anyones favorite game the old dmc games are still gonna be their.this is the same thing that happen with the Spider-Man movies they had nothing left to do after 3.so the same thing for the old dmc series the story got more confusing because 4 didn't make sense.if it took place a few years after dmc 1 why does lady still look young and if Nero is really Vergils son how did he grow up so fast.

The game was not that confusing, and as I said, we do have the right to be upset, because they didn't just change the appearance, but the core gameplay, DMC was loved by fans because of it's amazing gameplay and hard difficulty, the new DMC forgot about that, the new gameplay feels nothing like DMC and is incredibly easy, the stylish system is a joke and you never encounter more than 5-6 enemies at once, as far as I'm concerned, DMC 2 did a better job than Ninja Theory has.

They did a reboot, and made a stupid story which is supposed to be deep and reflect on today's media and society, but comes off as just stupid, and poorly written, trying too hard to be edgy and cool, while the old series never took themselves seriously, they where ridiculous game that where fun to play, and to add to that some kind of backstory. Ninja Theory missed the point with DMC. Something not only most fans agree with, but the Developer of the very first DMC game agrees with.
