Glen D. of QJ.net writes, If you're wondering why Pandemic Studios and THQ draped their upcoming Nintendo Wii game in a 1970s theme, the game's creators gave a simple explanation: the first Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed was set in the 1950s, while the sequel had a 1960s template. It should be logical then, that this one be set in the 70s.
But aside from chronology, it was stated in the Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed blog that the 70s have a unique charm to it because of the socio-political atmosphere of the region. A lot of changes took place, and they wanted to share to the gamers of today a more accurate depiction of the era.

From the PSP World Article:
"Bundling merchandise with games only works if the tie-in is truly desirable. Sometimes, game companies get it right, but often, they get it horribly, horribly wrong. Here are 5 PSP-related products that should have stayed on the drawing board."
LOL:
magic potion drink, which according to our Japan correspondent, allegedly tastes like “a cross between Mountain Dew, a handful of grass and the vinegar used to keep pickles.”

IGN reports: The current PSP release schedule is pretty much a cut-rate psyche test - is the glass half full or half empty? Folks leaning toward the optimistic answer have been dealt a blow today; THQ has officially canned Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed on the PSP.
If they canceled the PS2 version it was not likely a PSP version was going to be made.
I hope the true sequal will be as good as the first 2 games.
I feel bad for any PSP games. Cause it will sell like crap, make no return on their investment, and just be downloaded via torrents.

From gameplayer: "It had a shaky start, but there's now a flood of top-notch games hitting Sony's hand-held. Put simply, there's never been a better time to own a PSP…"
Is Gameplayer.com the new Kotaku? Sorry, but ten games on the PSP that will turn me on? I think not. If you are getting turned on by a game with anime chicks then you seriously need to get out more often...
