Jim Sterling writes: At first, things look bleak. Is this what Capcom's legendary survival horror series has become? A bubbling mass of cliches, a tribute to everything vapid and faintly ridiculous about so-called "AAA" game development? Nothing but shallow Hollywood action sequences and glorified, barely interactive cutscenes? Is this Resident Evil now? That's merely what it looks like when you first start playing. The full experience is something slightly less appealing than that.

A new rating of Resident Evil 6 for Xbox has been spotted, which could suggest that it's getting a current gen port for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.
Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.
Chances are their next remake will be 5.
I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment

GF365: "The iconic survival horror franchise Resident Evil boasts a great number of popular and memorable characters. Arguably, Leon S. Kennedy is the most popular and recognizable character aside from Jill Valentine. In this article, we'll be counting down every Resident Evil game Leon is featured in, ranked."
Yeah I figured it would be ordered like this. For me Leons best game was his debut. RE2.

No suprise here...
Played the demo, didn't like it much. No buy for me.
Admittedly, I don't usually agree with Destructoid reviews, but this one's an exception. All the flaws Mr Sterling mentions I too have experienced, from the awkward camera angles and iffy melee combat to the annoying QTEs and ridiculous control scheme - and don't get me started on the fact your character is constantly tripping over fallen foes!
I shall be skipping future RE games if they're anything like this one.
told me everything I needed to know.
i am so sad that i waste my bandwidth on downloading the demo.
As a huge RE fan, I am really enjoying these scores. Keep them coming.....Capcom needs to wake up and bring the game back to it's roots
