If there’s any characteristic that can forge a bond between a play and a game, it’s humour, something the acclaimed Worms series has been carrying since the mid-90s. The odd fusion of 2D sprite-based side-scrolling strategy games with tongue-in-cheek voiceovers made Worms a hit, and even spawned a few copycat games in the process (Hogs of War, anyone?). Now, aptly 17 years after the first Worms game was released, Team 17 bring out Worms Revolution. But surely after nearly twenty years in the business, we can’t expect any big leaps in innovation? Well, maybe that’s not always necessary.

The Humble Worms Bundle just launched today. It features games like Worms W.M.D., Worms Revolution, Worms Armageddon, and more. As usual, you pay what you want and a percentage goes to charity.
