In an interview with Weekly Famitsuu, Front Mission mastermind Toshirou Tsuchida and producer Kouichirou Sakamoto talked about their newest project, Front Mission 2089: Border of Madness for DS and the series' future.

Front mission has gone to a better place...we hope.
"It might be a massive generalisation, but it's safe to say that while the Front Mission franchise is one that most gamers know of, it's also one that most have never touched. It's not surprising either, since, if we're excluding the most recent entry, Front Mission: Evolved, only three games from the franchise ever saw the light of day in North America and Europe only received one. Now, that might not seem too bad until you realise that Japan has had ten."
It's sad how far this series has fallen since it's beginnings due to how SE has handled it.
Us Europeans only ever got one game, but it was a great game. I still don't understand how Square Enix thought Front Mission: Evolved would be a success.
front mission evolved is pretty cheesy to me. Wouldn't really hurt to port Front Mission 2 to the psp. I have FM5, but sometimes my ps2 is having trouble reading the disc due to the weak laser.

Gamertell has posted a list of 10 "prolific, famous and noteworthy voice actors who have lent their talents to video games."
Some of the voice actors in the list are: Michelle Ruff (Odin Sphere), James Arnold Taylor (Final Fantasy, Ratchet & Clank), Paula Tiso (Destroy All Humans), Derek Stephen Prince (Assassin's Creed), Tara Strong (Final Fantasy, Jak, Ninja Gaiden) and Jamieson Price (Castlevania).
The article lists many games to each actor's credit as well as other noteworthy voice performances.
I was really amazed with how good the voice overs were in Persona 3. I loved Akihiko's voice the most. Looks like many of the Persona 3 cast were mentioned there. Also the guy who did Tidus' voice is the same as Ratchet? Interesting.
No Quinton Flynn?
You know, the guy who voice-acted Raiden (MGS2 and MGS4), Axel (Kingdom Hearts 2), Henry (No More Heroes), Reno (FFVII: Advent Children and FFVII: Crisis Core), and Spider Man (Marvel: Ultimate Alliance). Of course, this excludes a few anime voice acting he's done :P
Oh man, talk about discrimination. If there is one voice in videogames that is recognize it is Keith David. Where the love, he should of definitly been on the list. Lets look at his credentials. Videogames: Halo 2 and 3 - Arbitor; Saint's Row 1 and 2 -Julius; Mass Effect - Capt Anderson; Fall Out - Decker; Planetscape: Torment - Vhailor ; Lord of Everquest - Lord Vekk; Transformers the game - Barricade. And he does cartoons also. The two main ones he is known for is Gargolyes- Goliath and Spawn - As Spawn. And if you did not know about Keith David and his voice work than you been living under a rock.
Paula Tiso over Keith David WTF

Square Enix's Front Mission 2089: Border of Madness is due out in Japan on May 29th on the Nintendo DS. Here are some screens to keep you interested until then…Via Gemaga.com
I love FM games.. FM3 was my favorite so far. Was hoping to see on on a nextgen console (preferably PS3) but this is good.
->spoiler Front Mission 3<-
Anyone else ever sad that you had to pick one person to save and could not save both in FM3 at the end?
I really hope they make one or more of the next-gen platforms. Okay... it'll probably end up being overlooked in America though but I want a Next-gen S-RPG (past Disgaea 3 and nothing like Enchanted Arms or Blue Dragon... those are considered just RPGs in my mind lol)! =)
All I want Square to do is to translate FM5 for PS2, it looked to be the best one ever.
Front Mission 3 and was excited to hear (a long, long time ago) that the PS1 Front Mission one game was going to be released in the States. Well, that never happened (except for the DS version). FM 4 was a good game too. I'll have to pick up any new games when they come out. I am also hopeful for a next-gen version.
