"Apple has introduced its fastest-ever professional Macs, introducing re-vamped versions of the Mac Pro and Xserve.
Available immediately, the new Mac Pro's offer eight processor cores and a new system architecture that the company claims offers "up to twice the performance of its predecessor". The new professional desktop Macs use two of Intel's brand-new 45-nanometre Quad-Core Xeon processors running at up to 3.2GHz.
These new Macs also offer much-improved graphics and up to 4TB of internal storage for creative professionals, with listed price starting at just £1,749 (including VAT)."

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Actually not badly priced for Mac's. If they can now only get game developers to recognise them i can do away with sh!tty windows once and for all.
That is worth it...But is it starting at 1749? I think it might be...but if u duel boot with windows then can you play games? Like crysis, half life, doom3 etc?
Daaam I maxed out the settings and it added up to $27,339.90! heres the link:

since well I just can't leave Windows and I've tried but now that MACS can run side by side with windows OS, I have been thinking about it but these prices are holding me back...
I wanna see a review on this puppy..
I'm running one of the "older" 2 x dual core xeon's @ 2.66 ghz with 6 gigs of ram + 1.5 TB in RAID 0, and I still haven't found anything that slows this thing down - particularly after I archived/installed leopard.
I used to run windows in bootcamp, then I ran parallels for a while but just haven't had a need to boot up into my windows install for months (not much of a pc gamer). these pro's are some of the best machines you can buy for the money, but they don't come cheap. Still - well worth the dough, particularly if you do any kind of film/audio editing.
Those are some serious specs.
