But now people are complaining about Nintendo getting those exclusive features and games. Gimme Gimme Games analyzes why gamers are complaining now that Nintendo is finally doing what we've hoped they would do for years and that is focusing on getting more "core" games for their home consoles and reminds us that even if you don't have any interest in the Wii U that having Nintendo compete for more "hardcore" games means other companies like Microsoft and Sony will have to step it up and that benefits even the non-Nintendo gamer.

Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

LOL I read this on gaff, will they refund the money back to the gamers? highly unlikely. Didn't they just raise prices and pass it onto the gamers? Only Nintendo would send out the Ninjas to the US government.
That’s what I was thinking, imagine them winning hypothetically, getting a s**t load of money back which they would have lost if they hadn’t raised their prices and it’s business as normal.
It would just mean people paid more for no reason since they got the money back anyway.
A lot of companies partially passed the cost to consumers instead of all of it. They would still have to at least pay that back to gamers, but we know that won't happen. What's also sad is that prices won't come back down after the initial hike caused by tariffs.
People didn't understand the full repercussions of tariffs. That alone should have cost him the presidency if people knew it was a permanent price hike for consumers
Naw they should sue the government for forcing the tax to begin with. No one reasonably expects these companies to absorb the taxes. Many smaller companies tried and were shut down or faced to increase prices to try to maintain their business. The tariffs effect everyone.
I meant it mostly as a joke cause we all know the costs of these tariffs were passed onto the consumer. But it's seems no matter how vocal we are here in the states our "representatives" don't seem to care enough to represent us. And things are about to get worse.
The companies were doing what the law required then to do, the tariffs however were illegally implemented. Usually it's criminals we punish, you seem to have different ideas 🤷♂️
You'd think gamers would be HAPPY about these things since they were the same people complaining that the Wii U did not set itself apart from current generation hardware or big name third party exclusives.
But instead the incessantly needless hatred continues.
It's just fanboys being fanboys. I find it amazing that these "mature" gamers are so damn threatened by each others pieces of plastic that they will do whatever they can to make what they don't like look terrible. I mean there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a preference for a particular platform or company, but condemning those who like what you don't is just plain childish and immature.
This "Let’s look at Bayonetta 2 for example [I am not going to put in the whole quote too long]" is not actually the argument in the case of Bayonetta 2. It is about shelling out for a system they do not want. These people are less inclined to complain about it being on the PS4 or 720 because there are other games on those system they would want to play as well (more looking at their exclusives than third party as third party is going to the Wii U anyway). Some hardcore fans feel a little bit betrayed and you must see their point.
The one about the full HD thing. I haven't seen a single complaint and I here it is all on youtube but bare in mind youtube is a minefield when it comes to fanboys. No console can have nice things there.
Little note. The Wii U has 1GB of usable ram (rest is reserved for the os) so do not compare 2GB to 512mb it is 1gb to 512mb
Just give me my WiiU so I can play the heck out of it. The little talkers will just have to get used to it. Nintendo is shaking things up making them restless.
This article is so true! For months I knew the Wii U would be a step up over PS3 and certainly Xbox360, Those systems are six and seven years old. Still the true fanboys argued, and argued, and then argued some more....The sad thing is a good portion of these fanboys still do. There are so many facts out that point to the Wii U being a step up from PS3 that some gamers are just in denial. BLACK OPS 2 Developers say "Wii U has a clear advantage over other consoles no matter what your preference" Yet still even with developers saying that, the fanboys argue still. Multiplayer This gamepad is adding to many games things that are just not able to be done on any other system PERIOD.... So you know what, why can't the fanboys of other systems just concede. 720 and PS4 are 18 months away, and for now Nintendo is the most powerful and must be copied by others system out there!
