The word ‘Transformers’ might now be as closely associated with Megan Fox’s ass and/or Shia LaBeouf gurning desperately into the camera as it is to a series of toys, but for geeks/nerds of a certain age that 12 letter, three syllable word rouses far deeper emotions than the shallow titillation or comedic-turns of the movies ever could. There’s that theme tune of course, Saturday mornings spent watching the poorly animated but no less enthralling cartoon and playground conversations about who was best – the Decepticons or the Autobots.
Though the recent big-budget movie reimaginings had a go at stomping on those childhood memories, not even Michael Bay’s lumpen-directorial abilities could diminish the inherent coolness of the Transformers themselves, and with the latest videogame based on the franchise, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron , Activision and High Moon Studios take the much loved characters back to their roots – back to the planet Cybertron and to a time where the robots in disguise were the main attraction, not the Hollywood starlet of the day.

Activision's Transformers games have been relisted on the Xbox and Steam stores, suggesting they could be available in the future.
Aw snap, i pirated the first game since I couldn't get it on steam but couldn't get it to work. Guess i don't gotta go out of my way now. Now if only SONY worked with em to port over Edge of Time or remastered Shattered and Edge.
WTF? I’ve been wanting to replay Fall/War games. So bummed they didn’t make em backwards compatible. I think imma have to dig out my 360 out of storage

While originally only the PlayStation and Steam stores were affected, now all the Transformers games on Xbox One and Xbox 360 have been delisted from the marketplaces.
Legend of Korra has been delisted from all marketplace stores as well. The rights expired with Activision.

Jason Stettner of Gamerheadquarters writes; "Transformers: Fall of Cybertron was a remarkable game, it continued the story line that War setup and presented players with the world of Cybertron which is often only mentioned in most media. "
Both 'War for' and 'Fall of' are really well made games. Much better than any of the movie licensed ones.
I love these games way better then the movie crap that was put out. Too bad the third game Rise of the Dark Spark sucked they had a great franchise going on with War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron.
