TPG - When one amateur video game article writer has a chance to interview one of his favorite developers he does not say no. We sat down with Jay Stuckwisch, Marketing Director and 2D Artist for Twisted Pixel to find out who that guy is on the spokes of I.R.I.S spokes, the protagonist from the newly shown game LocoCycle, and questions about the mighty beard of Frank Wilson. If you have no idea who Twisted Pixel is shame on you; luckily you can brush up on their awesomeness here at my developer spotlight of them.

Developers have started reporting they have been laid off from the company.
Twisted Pixel was one of my favorite developers before they got bought by Oculus and went VR only. That run of 'splosion Man, Comic Jumper, Gunstringer, and Lococycle was legendary.
This stinks but they knew who they were getting in bed with when they took the bag of cash.
bummer about Sanzaru. Sony should have acquired them after Sly 4 but I guess sales weren't that good for that and there was no real incentives to buy back then and the series ended on a cliffhanger. I love Sly4. something was amiss in their effort to introduce their own ideas on the IP but I still love it regardless. a 7.5/10 for me and I was excited for the sequel that never came!

Meta announced it has acquired developers Twisted Pixel, Armature Studio, and Camouflaj.Twisted Pixel is known for The Maw,‘Splosion Man,Ms. Splosion Man, Comic Jumper, LocoCycle, and Wilson's Heart. Armature Studio developed the virtual reality version of Resident Evil 4. They also recently released Where the Heart Leads. Camouflaj is the studio that developed Marvel's Iron Man VR and Republique.
I always said that MS should have purchased Twisted Pixel way back when they made MS Splosion Man.
Not sure what they have been up to lately, but I loved the humor found in their games.
Oh no. We need Microsoft to look at what Meta is aiming to purchase so that they can buy 'em before Meta can so that they can save us from Facebook.
A new trailer accompanies the announcement.
