Xbox version looks a little washed out

its seems the 360 framerate runs better under stress!even so they still cant make a game running at 30fps stable after all this years. LOWS of 22fps on the ps3 and 25fps on the 360,its just a shit work by CAPCOM!

I'm an XBOX 360 fan, but there's no denying it, the PS3 version looks richer and sharper. The 360 has a very washed out look and maybe even slightly lower texture resolution (i mean super slight), but without having a juxtaposed comparison, I would never be able to tell this sort of difference playing it on my TV.

I've been playing the 360 demo and it doesn't looked "washed" out like it does in these pictures and since I prefer the 360, it won't dissuade my purchase.

Oh and p.s. yeah, i own a ps3.

It took em around 6 years to finally start getting things right with PS3.. Some games like FF13 & Castlevania were much better on it but alot of western developed games came out best on 360.. Oh well, i guess all the compression they have to do to 360 to make games fit on those dvds are starting to hurt it.. Doesnt matter, i buy few games on 360 regardless if its a bit better.. I dont support companies that dont give anything back

It seems these comparisons are increasingly less and less different. Personally, I am happy to see more and more equality of the different platform versions of games. With Next gen coming up quickly I hope we see something similar for the PS4 & Xbox 720 so no owner of either platform feels they got the raw end of a stick because they have one platform or the other.

Let's face it, we're looking at screen shots. When the game is in motion you or I wont be able to tell the bloody difference. That's why we should focus on the performance aspect.

I am first and foremost a 360 fan. That being said I am also not blind and I can clearly see the 360 version looks washed out. If I did own both systems then I would most likely buy the PS3 version.

Downloaded both demos. First things first. The game does look a little shitty in the graphics department. Second, I did find that the Xbox looks a little washed out next to the PS3. However the PS3 strangely almost seems to come really close to losing detail due to its darkness. Not black crush just dark. Lastly I did notice that some textures etc seemed sharper on the Xbox (the BSAA patch on Chris's arm for example). If you own both consoles like I do it'll come down to which controller you prefer. Also, to ease some fears of Xbox fans there was absolutely no screen tear.

Looks a bit better on the PS3 but if you care that much about graphics then you should get it for PC. Im buying it for PS3.

The game looks dark, muddy on both. Just not a great looking game to do any sort of comparisons with.

The game is ugly either way, and the gameplay is worse. This game has the worst camera positioning in the history of games.

Ps3 does look sharper this time. It's not much but a bit better detail overall.

On the grand scale of things they look the same but if we are going to be this anal about the PS3 does look a little sharper for me. but either way the best is Resident Evil 2 and that now looks alot worse then RE6

It will always be like this no matter how good or bad a game looks on either console.

In some shots,the PS3 looks sharper and the texture looks spot-on while the Xbox360 ones look washed out,on other shots the Xbox360 looks sharper and the texture are spot-on while the PS3 ones look washed out..!

So whatever,get whichever you want for your favorite system of choice :D !

Based on the demo, I actually think RE5 looked better then 6, then again, It's on a demo. Could be an early build.

Xbox 360 has better lighting and detail but overall they're the same.

After seeing this, As much as I love my 360 and PS3. I'll be getting it for 360 for sure. I don't know but playing the demos on both systems, I find it much more clearer on 360 than PS3.

Half you people couldn't tell them apart if they weren't presented side-by-side. That's how little difference there is. Get a job and buy a PC if you want great graphics.

Both systems have decent graphics. Just be glad rescuing Ashley isn't the main objective.

It used to be that every 360 version was better, now it's the other way around. I guess developers are finally catching on that the 360 doesn't matter outside of the US, where it barely has a lead anyway.

At this point in the console race either developers are actually pushing both consoles to the point of parity or the developers aren't pushing the advanced console over the other and are looking for the all mighty dollar instead. What brings more money in, a game that looks roughly the same on both consoles or the game that actually has an advantage on one console over the other? The gamers are being played in this scenario plain and simple.

the hypocrisy of some gamers never ceases to amaze me. A lot of console-only gamers unite from both ps3 and xbox 360 camps to scream at pc-only gamers that graphics dont matter and gameplay is the only thing people should care about. Then they proceed to tear at each others throats for graphical quality of multiplat games that basically looks identical on both consoles.

Looks "Sharper" on one version than another? yeah ok.

The truth is that if these games ran side by side none of you would be able to tell which version is running on which machine. This kind of behavior is embarrassing to say the least.

You have an amazing piece of technology (be it ps3, 360, or PC) to play video games on. Whatever you have is your platform of choice and you are happy with it. Why do some of you feel the need to try to say your system is "better" than another system. If you are happy with what you have that is all that matters.

A lot of people arent fortunate enough to have any video games. You are lucky and you should recognize that fact...just sayin.

Having played the demo last night I feel I can comfortably say its a pretty good looking game, and it seems to run without a hitch. Didn't notice much of a drop in frame rates, even in the pretty hectic goings on of the Chris demo section. All in all I'm pretty damn pumped for this game. Ps I was playing on ps3

My game did NOT look as bright as these screenshots show. The lecture theatre was pitch black with the odd lights scattered. TV and game settings were default

I played the 360 demo and DL'd the PS3 one yesterday but haven't checked it out because, well, Borderlands 2 is far better.

BUT

What scared me the most was walking and shooting. Then I rolled around on the ground and did some gymnastics move on a hipster zombie. I couldn't even believe I was playing a RE game.

I'm only buying the PS3 version if the the 360 version's gonna be a multi-disc game. But I hear that the one disc will have just the DLC and the other disc will have the full campaign. I can live with that set-up.

Hard pass; also the first time I played RE6 was on XB1. Why the re-release? Unless they gave it a 4k 60fps update. Even with that I would never play it again! Quick Time gameplay with prompts?

RE0 is being remade, and there is a movie being made to go along with it!
