This Zone thing isn't working, I'm still seeing comments that make me want to kick someone in the face ferociously.

"Final Fantasy or Fable? Gran Turismo or Mario Kart? Metal Gear or Splinter Cell?"

Are these supposed to be hard questions to answer? I bet that the majority will answer the games that are all on the same platform.

The Wii line up is just God awful.
Wonderworld Amusement Park? WTF?!?seriously; they should just sell the Wii with pink flowers and potpuri for it's owners...What a pathetic line up. Only 2 games caught my eye, Mario Kart and No Heroes. Wii owners who dare call themselves gamers should just bend right over and take it in the rear.

Since they recently changed formats, they keep this zone up really good. Besides that, I'll be getting SC over MGS because personally I have never liked MGS. I have always hated FF, so I wont be getting that and any Wii game as far as I am concerned is garbage. I will be getting Restance 2 for sure and KZ2, in hopes that its better than 1 because 1 was horrible.

The choice is clear for many, for others its not clear. But for many, they will choose Forza over Gran Turismo. I would always choose "Fable" over Final Fantasy. And once again, its due to the types of games we play vs the other side.

First of all, the Playstation 3 lineup is nothing. Its more or less relying on Metal Gear and the promise of the future FF to sell the system to the masses. For those people, the lineup beats everything. But only for those absolute fans and its not going to light the world ablaze.

While Xbox relies primarily on Halo and Gears, it can NOW officially rely on a new franchise: Mass Effect, and they have the consolation of having the most diverse games on the current market.

I bought my 360 to play those big games like Ninja Gaiden, Gears of War, Mass Effect and a good dose of Blue Dragon. I didn't do it for "other" reasons like a ridiculous overhyped FF game. Mass Effect series may not be multiplayer, but its got the same production values where it counts for a 360 game.

And in 2008 since Sony is relying on Metal Gear Solid to sell the system, how do they anticipate going up against the likes of Splinter Cell 5 for instance?

I've never OFFICIALLY been interested in metal gear really since its not my thing and its not multiplayer. But I HAVE always bought Splinter Cell, and there are ALOT of gamers out there PC and console who think like I do now- they do not even give Metal Gear a chance. They buy SPLINTER CELL and nothing else, some of them wait ONLY for this franchise.

That's how far things have come, alot of people simply see Splinter Cell in a different light and like it far above metal gear solid. And if the trend continues as I see it, I really don't see 360 sales slowing down.

I mean I'll be blunt with you: I don't care about Metal Gear really or the Gran Turismo franchise, so why should I or anyone who thinks like I do pick up a PS3 this year?

The answer is "they" shouldn't, and they "won't". Sony will need alot more than just some flashy old franchises. If they want to honestly take on 360 where it counts, which is in europe, they will need EXCLUSIVE multiplayer games that are truly good.

Killzone 2 looks like trash, I'm sorry. And what is that other game? An unproven IP? No thanks on Little Big Planet, I'd much rather take my chances you see on a PROVEN franchise like Halo Wars.

And then there's Banjo 3 which I would rather get than "LITTLE BIG PLANET" as LBP has never proved itself, either.

Seriously, I'm beginning to wonder why people think Resistance 2 is that game. Its had one edition, and couldn't even compete with "GEARS" multiplayer let alone.......Half Life. And that's especially sad to me!

I don't think Lost Odyssey is even competing with Final Fantasy yet, so to think that those games like god forbid KILLZONE and SOCOM would compete with Halo, Gears or Ghost Recon is BLASPHEMY.

And it is TOTAL blasphemy, because many gamers respect the amazing quality Ubi Soft brings to their games. And thats why they buy 360 over anything else. They don't want all the single player games that playstation is invested in, and the first year games were pretty much garbage.

I'm not saying anything one way or another on 2008, but I can tell you Too Human is a franchise people will be watching. If it pulls it off, expect that to be system seller out of left field. And I see nothing even approaching Too Human's innovation on PS3, or that could touch these games or Lost Planet Colonies.

We shall see indeed because Europe is always a changing market....

They put no effort into making a decent list for the Wii. They didn't mention Brawl, Fatal Frame, or Final Fantasy. The also failed to add that Tomb Raider is going to the Wii as well. They should've mention Spore too.

Not sure how many of you actually looked through each page, but the PS3 has a VERY strong exclusive line up for 2008 compared to the other two consoles. It's going to be very interesting to see how this year plays out.

Well it all looks good.

I'm telling every one, this year is going to be better than last year, I mean they missed allot of games in this list but still it looks promising.

This year will be the greatest year ever, on the multi platform front and exclusive front.

Expect hyped up games to be just as good as ones people deem to be average due to the lack of pedigree and the fact they're new IP's vs the known time tested franchises.
