alive and kicking, multiplayer games are great though but a single player game is more beneficial for me specifically as a gamer because i enjoy the pure quality and taking my time in a good game and enjoying a good story.

Single player will never die. But since humans are a social creature it will have some hard times and we'll see less n less of it from this point on...it can't ever completely die though.
