Miyamoto might be the world's most famous game designer, but Super Mario Galaxy director Yoshiaki Koizumi is one of Nintendo's brightest lights.
Link's Awakening, Super Mario 64, Ocarina Of Time, Majora's Mask, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy: what's the first name to pop into your head? It's almost impossible not to think of Shigeru Miyamoto, but it's hard to conceive any other name to attach to such a remarkable series of titles. Yet a man called Yoshiaki Koizumi has quietly toiled on each one of them, most recently as game director for Super Mario Galaxy

The Wii is now a retro console. Let’s get nostalgic about an often maligned system.
Crazy to think the WII is to the Switch 2, as the NES was to the WII back then. 20 Year difference.
My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.
Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.
Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.

New Chrono Trigger Form-ism figures of Crono and Marle have been showcased at a Square Enix pop-up store, with pre-orders expected soon.
To celebrate Tomb Raider: Legend's 20th anniversary, the official channels have shared an early in-development gameplay demo.
its not right to give one person credit for a great game. Great game is the effort of a lot of individuals. back in the day when games were easier to make and required less input maybe but now when you have over 100ppl working on one game its wrong to give credit to just one
I hate it when people don't take credit, Miyamoto takes all the credit, but no one knows or give credit to this guy (I'm a fan by the way) and he worked on most of the Nintendo hits even more than Miyamoto did.
Some of the games he worked on (Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Mario Kart and others.)
I understand that Miyamoto is Nintendo Poster boy but sill..
