Guild Wars 2 was handed to me accompanied by a bold statement from one of its fans: “This will be the first MMO you will ever play that I know you will actually enjoy.” I was pretty shocked at how serious they were with this statement. With all the endless, poorly constructed WoW clones that had been made over the last few years we still have a rare few willing to have hope, ambition, desire, and place actual real world effort in making sure that the MMO genre continues to receive the respect they believe it so rightfully deserves.

I played it a little years ago. It was fun but I had children after I started playing and gave it up so my wife wouldn’t hate me. I got to 50 and then hung it up
Arenanet is doing smthn wrong with marketing, I never once seen an ad for a gw2 expansion and always hear it like this once an expac is already released. Not that I would play it cause I'm a gw1 purist haha
