The creative director at NetherRealm Studios, Ed Boon, has suggested that a sequel to Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe is unlikely because of plans to develop both series separately.

Actually he didnt say that and his statement was very vague. And beside that, Ed Boon is more a spokesperson than anything else it seems. He can't decide what game is made, he does not hold the copyrights. Its all up to higher ups from Warner Bros.

This is horrible the game was insane i used to host parties just to play this game. I think it deserves a sequel it was a great game.

Think of Injustice as the spiritual sequel to MK vs Dc but with all the blood.
