It says consoles with GM are more expensive what does GM mean?

nintendo doesn't strike me as a company that would do multiple tiers at launch. I dunno about this leak.

Plus I doubt the cheap SKU is a quality one. Probably comes with less than what's needed for the full experience, probably without the things you'd already have if you had a wii, including the power cable. (*looks over at dead 3DS XL with no charger to revive it..*)

We've heard people repeat those dates over and over. I'm guessing a Nov 11th date for a US release and Dec 8th for europe.

I suspect 1-2 launch games are to be thrown into the more expensive box. Possibly an external HDD as well?

There was a rumour that Nintendo were pushing Wii motion plus in their advertisements over here in Europe. I wonder if one of them includes that 0_o

That's very interesting. Nintendo's never done something like this before if memory serves me well. I look forward to seeing if this is real and what the bundles are if it is.

I think someone brought up in comments that the NES had multiple SKU's when it launched over here in the states.
Edit: So the NES launched at $89- system only w/2 gamepads and at $99- system, 2 gamepads and Mario Bros. So if the multiple SKU's is accurate then Nintendo is really looking back on the past for inspiration of this systems launch.

720 will be $299 just like the 360 was.

The PS4 will be $349, I'd suggest, given no major 'new' components (ie BluRay and Cell).

I am sure Nintendo knows what they are doing. They are market leader after all. I'll be worried if its DOA like Vita but I know that isnt going to happen.Nintendo is relying on their brand name like Sony is. Wii U is getting the same hate Wii got from the same scared fanboys. It's going to be a repeat like last gen only Sony will be late to the party so expect that to be the excuse for it being dead last.

As for which will be more powerful I hope Wii U isnt the most powerful because that console never wins.I'd much rather it have a diverse library of great games to play than have some useless bragging rights over which one console has a slight edge in power.

If the Wii U is $199-$249, its going to be bigger than the Wii was. It has a lot going for it, mainly the fact that its Nintendo's first HD console and that its the first next gen console to hit.

If Microsoft and Sony think announcing their next consoles will cool Nintendo's jets, I think they would be making a grave mistake. This isn't the Dreamcast where announcing a console will cause people not to buy Nintendo's. I think lightning is about to strike twice in a row for Nintendo. Looking great!
